The first playoff round of Copenhagen Games has come to an end, with most favourites progressing to the next stage.

With the end of the group stage, the 16 best teams were placed in the best-of-three Upper Bracket, whereas the bottom two sides from each group were sent to the Lower Bracket to battle for survival in best-of-one matches.

Virtus.pro quickly brushed aside Atlantis 2-0, the same scoreline by which Team SoloMid beat Space Soldiers and dignitas defeated FlipSid3 Tactics.

3DMAX sent to the Lower Bracket by CPH Wolves

In the all-Swedish clash between Property and Publiclir.se, it was Andreas "znajder" Lindberg's team who claimed bragging rights despite getting off on the wrong foot in the series. In the following round, Property will take on Gamers2, who moved past Orbit on three maps.

The only surprising result from the Round of 16 is perhaps 3DMAX's 1-2 defeat at the hands of Copenhagen Wolves, who have set up a quarter-final encounter against LGB eSports.
