dignitas and passions have secured spots in the closed qualifier for the European Minor after finishing top two in the third open bracket.
Over 500 teams from around Europe took part in the tournament, featuring a single-elimination bracket, for the chance to earn a spot in the closed rounds.
As always, some big-name teams bowed out of the qualifier early, such as iGame.com, who were defeated by Outlaws in the Round of 128, and Copenhagen Games champions Singularity, who are ranked 23rd in the world but could not move past EnVyUs Academy in the Round of 32.

dignitas, who have been playing with Jorgen "cromen" Robertsen and Jesper "TENZKI" Plougmann after seemingly parting ways with Mikail "Maikelele" Bill and Faruk "pita" Pita, finished top two after a solid run that culminated with best-of-three victories over ESG! and WASD.
From the other half of the bracket came passions, a Swedish team featuring former Epsilon Hype member Hampus "hampus" Poser. After edging past Timothée "DEVIL" Démolon's MAXISAUCISSE on three maps, they beat ALTERNATE aTTaX 2-0 to assure themselves of a surprising top-two finish in the qualifier.
This means that the following 14 teams are already confirmed for the closed qualifier for the European Minor, which will run from May 18-19:
BIG
Envy
Epsilon
HEROIC
Kinguin
LDLC
Ninjas in Pyjamas
Space Soldiers

The final two spots in the Swiss closed qualifier will be determined through the fourth open bracket, for which teams can sign up by going here.
